Fans have already made their feelings clear on Albert as she was booed when introduced as a substitute in the USWNT's SheBelieves Cup win over Japan. USWNT star Alex Morgan and captain Lindsey Horan both condemned Albert's actions before the match, while USWNT legend Julie Foudy has called on the situation to be "dealt with quickly".

Across the country, human rights are being stripped away. LGBTQIA+ rights are human rights. Trans rights are human rights. Today and every day, the USWNT Players will stand up for those rights."
