Gareth Bale sent the world a message on Saturday night insisting that he still has what it takes to change a game having been the star of the show in Real Madrid’s Champions League final win over Liverpool.
The Welshman came off the substitutes bench to score two goals, one of which was a stunning bicycle kick, to earn a 3-1 triumph for Los Blancos in Kiev.
Unsurprisingly, the world and his wife have since been linked with a move for Bale, who has been restricted to a bit-part role for the majority of the season in Spain but still managed to score 20 goals in all competitions.
However, according to The Guardian, Premier League champions Manchester City have no interest in recruiting the 28-year-old.

The publication claims that Pep Guardiola’s side will pave the way for Manchester United to swoop for the former Tottenham Hotspur star.
There is no doubt that City have a wealth of talent in their squad, but some fans have arrogantly dismissed the idea of signing Bale, as if he did not possess the quality required.
