Yamal has been a shining star for Barcelona and the Spain national team over the last two years as the highly-rated teenager continues to develop into 'the next big thing'. Barcelona fans have often drawn comparisons between Yamal and Messi due to similarities in playing style between the teen and iconic eight-time Ballon d'Or winner. The winger brought out his best Messi impression and produced a dribble against Alaves to send fans crazy.

Yamal has already become one of the best players in the world despite only being 17 years of age. The Spaniard was also in the Top 10 list of the Ballon d'Or for last season after leading La Roja to European glory at Euro 2024. He is also currently the top assist-maker in La Liga this season with 12 recorded in 18 games.

Barcelona have a big game in midweek as they take on Valencia on Thursday, February 6 in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey and they will hope that Yamal can produce the same form as he showed against Los Che two weeks ago in a 7-1 La Liga win.
